Aaron Jacob Smith 'Aaron Jacob Smith'Bold text (March 24, 1975 - Present)is an American brewer and guitarist known for his bacchanal revelry and general surliness.

Aaron Jacob Smith was born in Boise, ID at St. Lukes hospital on March 24th, 1975. Born to Margaret "Peg" Mary Flaherty and Lester "Don" Donald Smith Jr. Peg and Lester were divorced in 1978 and Peg Flaherty was remarried to Karl Walter Hipple in 1980 and Don was remarried to Carol G. Black in 1978. After a brief time in Orofino, ID Peg and Karl moved to Salmon,ID. where Aaron went to school grades K through 8. In 1998 Karl and Peg relocated to Spokane, WA. where Aaron graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School in 1993.


musical history: Aaron started playing guitar when he was a freshman in high school in Spokane, WA in 1989. His first formal band was called Delta 9. Formed in 1998 with Bassist Matthew Gary Zeilfelder, guitarist James Guzman, and drummer Nick Vincent-Maloney. Delta 9 enjoyed playing a punctual style of eclectic rock with minor local popularity. Delta 9 was influenced by Frank Zappa, Tim Kerr, and Sonic Youth. In 2001 Nick Vincent-Maloney and James Guzman quit Delta 9. Nick Vincent-Maloney was replaced by Tom Campbell and over the next year new songs were written under the names Dirty Sanchez, Why i Drink, and Bush Pilot. In 2002 Ryan Anderson vocalist for soon to be dufunct Autin, TX power rock band Damn Times moved to Bellingham, WA to join Aaron, Matt, and Tom and the name was soon changed to '76 Charger. Soon after Tom Campbell quit and a run of several drummers played with '76 Charger including Jason Crotts, Andy Piper, Richard Kanut 3rd and Phil Mayben, and finally Russell Bogle Dingus. In Winter of 2007 Aaron Jacob Smith quit '76 Charger to persue other musical interests. Aaron's current band is called Boss Rhino, which is made up of Aaron Jacob Smith (Guitar), James Guzman (Guitar), Chad DeRoux (Vocals), Russ Dingus (Drums), and Jeremy Hunter (Bass).

Employment: Aaron has always held a passion for cooking and worked in the food and beverage industry. After several years of throwing pizzas at cucina cucina and cicchittis Aaron was hired in the kitchen at Boundary Bay Brewery in Bellingham, Wa, where he currently works as head brewer.
