Hi everybody.

I'm a language teacher in Melbourne, Australia, though I was born in Sale, Gippsland.

Besides my day job, I am a semi-pro musician, performing with various artists as That Sousaphone Guy.

My hobbies include languages and music (particularly jazz, blues & roots) and stuff like that. I also take an interest in railways, politics and history.

I'm also one of a group of guys running a news site for Australian rules football outside Australia, called World Footy News.

I've translated some articles from German to English and vice-versa. I can also translate from French, Spanish or (usually) Russian into English but would rather not do it other way around (unless a native speaker checks my work for problems afterwards!!).
