Why is a template like this on Wikipedia and the project? It does not make sense when some moderator is nominating way more relevant templates for deletion? It should be deleted, IMHO. It could stay but rosters for big tournaments with NHL players should be added. But info about players on NHL game covers should not be here. In case that rosters for big tournaments is deleted, this one should go to. No one is able to give a proper explanation how trivial facts like this should be here.

I'm beginning to suspect we have a WP:NOTHERE situation, especially in view of Spuleri's recent edit history being exclusively focused on bludgeoning the template issue after encountering resistance. I'm under no illusions that the individuals in charge will respond to this comment with anything other than once again not being able to explain how less relevant templates like this is supposed to stay here. Simple: that we just don't delete templates (or anything else on Wikipedia) based on vague, utterly subjective premises like "less relevant." Nor, for that matter, do we delete templates because editors with a bare handful of edits have fits of pique over their own pet creations being deleted. That you like neither answer is as may be, but your personal approval is not required for consensus to go forward. Conyo14's advice is good. I recommend you take it.
