Template:Gwanda District has 26 wards. There are currently 24 wards (as per 2023 election).[1] The wards have numbers, not names, and the number of wards changes from election to election. It therefore does not make sense to have (permanent) articles for temporary local government divisions. Most of the names on the template are also settlements, e.g. Kafusi, so the ward articles can be upadted to refer to the settlements. However, where we have two articles like Hwali and Hwali (village), we only need one.
