There is a move discussion in progress on Template talk:Elections in Alabama which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 09:05, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2020-09-25T09:05:00.000Z","author":"RMCD bot","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-RMCD_bot-2020-09-25T09:05:00.000Z-Move_discussion_in_progress","replies":[]}}-->

Regarding the use of flags in this template: I noticed several other state election templates used flags to represent the US federal government, state government, and city governments, and used a green checkmark to represent ballot measures. However, the application here varies widely. I'm generally indifferent to how it looks (though I tend generally to lean toward including visual data) but I feel that no matter what these templates should be consistent in their use. Posting to the talk page per WP:BRD; paging GoldRingChip as they were the editor who initially reverted per MOS:FLAGS. • Yes, I see what you mean. I also prefer visual data, but that's why I'm careful not to overdo it with flags everywhere. —GoldRingChip 14:38, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2021-01-05T14:38:00.000Z","author":"GoldRingChip","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-GoldRingChip-2021-01-05T14:38:00.000Z-AllegedlyHuman-2021-01-05T04:53:00.000Z","replies":[]}}-->
