This template was rendering poorly on small monitors, because of the included line breaks. I used {{nowrap}} to prevent the individual wikilinks from being broken up by word-wrapping, and removed the line breaks. I imagine there might be a more efficient way to do this, though. -Tobogganoggin talk 20:24, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2007-04-15T20:24:00.000Z","author":"Tobogganoggin","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Tobogganoggin-2007-04-15T20:24:00.000Z-Line_breaks","replies":["c-Wiki_Wistah-2007-05-03T22:45:00.000Z-Tobogganoggin-2007-04-15T20:24:00.000Z"]}}-->

I was the one who originally set it up with the hard breaks. The reasoning being, first, that I didn't like to see individual names breaking in the middle -- I like how you've solved that -- and second, that I didn't like the unbalanced look of having bullets separating a name from a line break (i.e., I think stylistically the line break should take the place of the bullet -- it's either one or the other). Given the presence of alternate display setups, e.g. small monitors, I don't think there's any easy way to solve my second problem, though, so this seems to be as good as it will get. ``` W i k i W i s t a h W a s s a p 22:45, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2007-05-03T22:45:00.000Z","author":"Wiki Wistah","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Wiki_Wistah-2007-05-03T22:45:00.000Z-Tobogganoggin-2007-04-15T20:24:00.000Z","replies":[],"displayName":"W i k i W i s t a h"}}-->

The COVID-19 pandemic and its drastic effect on the newspaper business has caused CNHI to reduce the preint frequency of almost all of its daily newspapers. Some have even been reduced in two steps from daily to weekly. Therefore, we need to assess how we will rename the category headings in this template. I am currently going through all CNHI papers (as shown on List of newspapers published by CNHI) on a periodic basis to change the print frequencies or to indicate papers that have closed or merged with other newspapers. It's a big task, as the parent company is in serious trouble and making changes in virtually all of its properties. I'd view this as analogous to a WP article on a shop or restaurant that has closed because of COVID-19 -- would the lede say "is" or "was"? I think it all depends on the messaging accompanying the changes. If the company is pitching this as a temporary change, I'd say note the changes in the article but leave them in the template. If (or when) the company announces that these changes are permanent, only then delete them from the template. Just my suggestion. ``` t b w i l l i e ` $1.25 ` 21:46, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2020-05-30T21:46:00.000Z","author":"Toll Booth Willie","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Toll_Booth_Willie-2020-05-30T21:46:00.000Z-Realkyhick-2020-05-29T06:45:00.000Z","replies":[],"displayName":"t b w i l l i e"}}-->
