Use
To use this userbox template, place the following line of Wiki markup on your user page:

where:
dateis the check date or the date of death in yyyymmdd format
Examples
If the date parameter is today or a date in the future, {{User dead|20260909}} yields:
| This user is not yet dead. Please check back later... |
If the date parameter is in the past, {{User dead|20260715}} yields:
| This user is dead. There is no need to check back later. |
If the date parameter is missing or is not a number, {{User dead}} yields:
| This user may be alive or dead. |
