Usage
This template was added to help the verification phase of the EB1911 piece of Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles. It adds articles to Category:1911 Britannica articles needing updates.
It takes three optional parameters:
- article=article name — this appears in bold in the text and alters the text from:
"on an article in the out-of-copyright"to:"on the article article name in the out-of-copyright"
- section=x — this alters the text from:
"This article is largely"to:"This section is largely"
- edition=12 — if the content is from the 12th edition of Encyclopædia Britannica (1922), this alters the text from:
"Encyclopædia Britannica Eleventh Edition, which was produced in 1911"to:"Encyclopædia Britannica Twelfth Edition, which was produced in 1922"
