Template:ROMANDATE/doc

{{ROMANDATE}} gives the date in the Roman calendar. The given year is in Ab urbe condita. The individual units of time are returned by {{ROMANDATE/year}}, {{ROMANDATE/month}}, and {{ROMANDATE/day}}. The year, month and day can be given as parameters, but if not, they will default to the current date in UTC. The algorithms to derive it are taken from Calendrical Calculations by Nachum Dershowitz and Edward Reingold.
