{{CS1 language script}} generates documentation for subcategories of Category:CS1 uses foreign language script. It extracts a language code and language name from the category name and passes them to Template:CS1 language script/core which displays the documentation.

When used on such as Category:CS1 uses Cherokee-language script (chr), the language code is chr, the language name is Cherokee, and the documentation displayed is:
