Request: Updates to ZeroTurnaround article and creation of Perforce JRebel page (COI)

Hi,

I have a conflict of interest (COI) since I work at Perforce, so I will not make direct edits myself. I would like to propose a few updates and clarifications to the existing ZeroTurnaround article, and request the creation of a new page that reflects the acquisition of this brand.

Here are the requests,

1. Company/Product Naming Update - ZeroTurnaround is now called Perforce JRebel. - This change is reflected in the redirect from https://zeroturnaround.com to (https://www.jrebel.com/. - Perforce JRebel products now include XRebel and JRebel Enterprise. - Please consider creating a separate Wikipedia page for Perforce JRebel. It is its' own product line under Perforce Software, since Perforce acquired ZeroTurnaround.

2. Content Update to Existing Article On the current ZeroTurnaround page, it says: "ZeroTurnaround developed JRebel, a Java integrated development environment plugin that eliminates the build and redeploy phases of the Java EE development cycle."

Since JRebel is not limited to Java EE, I'd like to request that this is updated to "ZeroTurnaround developed JRebel, a Java integrated development environment plugin that eliminates the build and redeploy phases of the Java development cycle."

3. Acquisition Context (ZeroTurnaround → Rogue Wave → Perforce → Perforce JRebel) Here are some third party sources that help confirm the ZeroTurnaround acquisiti9on. - In 2017, Rogue Wave Software acquired ZeroTurnaround: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/rogue-wave-software-acquires-java-developer-tool-provider-zeroturnaround-300563548.html and https://sdtimes.com/developer-productivity/rogue-wave-acquires-zeroturnaround-java-developer-tools/ - In 2019, Rogue Wave Software itself was acquired by Perforce Software: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_Wave_Software

Here are some additional references just in case: - JRebel website: https://www.jrebel.com/

Thank you in advance for reviewing these suggestions! HaileyPerforce (talk) 14:29, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done for now: Speedy closed per WP:AITALK and WP:LLM. AlphaBetaGamma (Talk/report any mistakes here) 14:36, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
I've revised my original request, could an editor please take another look and let me know if more third party sources are needed? HaileyPerforce (talk) 15:29, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Updates to ZeroTurnaround Wikipedia Page to Reflect JRebel Changes (COI)

Hi, I am resubmitting my COI requests for some updates to hopefully be made to this page. I work at Perforce Software, which JRebel is a part of.

Below are the requests I would like to make:

1. Update the company/product name: ZeroTurnaround is now called Perforce JRebel. This change can be seen via the redirect from https://zeroturnaround.com to https://www.jrebel.com/. Please consider creating a separate Wikipedia page for Perforce JRebel. It is its' own product line under Perforce Software, since Perforce acquired ZeroTurnaround

ZeroTurnaround → Rogue Wave → Perforce → Perforce JRebel Here are some third party sources that help confirm the ZeroTurnaround acquisiti9on. -In 2017, Rogue Wave Software acquired ZeroTurnaround: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/rogue-wave-software-acquires-java-developer-tool-provider-zeroturnaround-300563548.html and https://sdtimes.com/developer-productivity/rogue-wave-acquires-zeroturnaround-java-developer-tools/ - In 2019, Rogue Wave Software itself was acquired by Perforce Software: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogue_Wave_Software

2. Perforce JRebel product suite now includes XRebel and JRebel Enterprise.

3. Update to existing article on the current ZeroTurnaround page. Right now it says: "ZeroTurnaround developed JRebel, a Java integrated development environment plugin that eliminates the build and redeploy phases of the Java EE development cycle." Since JRebel is not limited to Java EE, I'd like to request that this be updated to "ZeroTurnaround developed JRebel, a Java integrated development environment plugin that eliminates the build and redeploy phases of the Java development cycle."
