Tiara Yachts is a boat manufacturer based in Holland, Michigan. Its models include both fishing and crusing boats ranging from 29-52 feet. The company is most famous for coining the term "open" to describe it Tiara 3100. Tiara is also known as Pursuit through which it produces outboard engine powered models from 25-34 feet.

T.I.A.R.A. is also the acronym for a military intelligence operation: Tactical intelligence and related activities —Preceding unsigned comment added by PanamaZac (talkcontribs) 06:44, 24 March 2006

Remove section?

The section "The Tiara Pageant and Model Training Studio" reads like an andvertizement, especially with the inline link "for more information". I moved the inline link into External links, but in my opinion the whole section should be removed; it really doesn't appear to meet the Notability requirements for Wikipedia. Yeah, I ran across it while RC patrolling and am watching it. I agree, it should be in a Tiara (training studio) article, establish its own RS and N, etc. I'm trying to AGF and DONTBITE... but it really doesn't belong at all, from what I've seen. Jclemens (talk) 16:06, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Males with Tiaras

Wait a minute... who deleted the section on males with tiaras? And what were the grounds for that? General kaiden (talk) 22:48, 16 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re Queen Elizabeth II's Brazilian aquamarine tiara -- it was not a gift from the people of Brazil. The aquamarine stones were a gift, the Queen then had a tiara and matching parure made by the Crown Jewelers, Garrards, using the aquamarine stones.

"worn by women"

"A tiara [is a] crown worn by women." When a man or non-binary person wears a tiara, is it not called tiara anymore? 2A02:8109:AA40:5464:743C:EE3C:6D30:F44C (talk) 00:16, 17 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tiara and Iranian origins

Edits [[1]] & [[2]] made by user at ip address 109.51.41.242 suggest the TIARA originated in Iran.
However the source cited specifically mentions that it is only a SUGGESTION that the word tiara originates from Persian or some other Eastern Language.
WRT user 109.51.41.242 mentioning that arab tribesmen wore tiaras - the cited source is talking about the Phrygian cap and other such headresses made of SOFT MATERIAL This wiki page mainly refers to the semi circulare metallic headress. STC1 talk 20:53, 11 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
