The population of the Tehran metropolis is not 15 million, it is 18 million people. The Tehran metropolis includes Tehran province and Alborz (Karaj) province, and together these two province have a population of 18 million people. 14.5 million in Tehran province as well as 3.5 million people in Alborz province. I think this error is due to many people do not know the exact definition of Tehran metropolis, many believe that it includes just Tehran province, but the fact is that it includes Alborz province as well.--Yasujih (talk) 14:24, 28 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

The infobox for this article far exceeds the recommended length, due in part to the number of photos and the choice to have captions for each of them rather than combined at the bottom.
