Can some one help? My understanding is that the element alminium doesnt dissolve in water, doesnt float and is not found naturally in a pure state on this plane

Can some one help? My understanding is that the element alminium doesnt dissolve in water, doesnt float and is not found naturally in a pure state on this planet. So how can this river have a load of aluminium? If we are talking about compounds of aluminium then should it say that? Victuallers (talk) 17:28, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
- Oh it appears we are both right. Acid can dissolve aluminium using this reaction and I guess this stream has acid in it. Hence the measure. Sorry to disturb you Victuallers (talk) 17:39, 25 August 2014 (UTC)

We quote this as "the prettiest stream in Pennsylvania" and don't even have one picture to back it up? Daniel Case (talk) 03:35, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
- Well, it does require some highly strenuous hiking to get to, so I suppose that makes it rather difficult to take a picture. --Jakob (talk) 11:30, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
