This page is currently an unclear mix of information on stratified random sampling and stratified random assignment. Not only that, there is another page on stratified sampling as well, with similar information; the page about stratification in clinical trials also has some duplicate information.
I suggest the information on sampling be unified on the stratified sampling page, and this page be used specifically for stratified random assignment.
