Talk:Red Line

Several current targets don't mention the term "Red Line" (PATCO Speedline, T Third Street for example) in violation of WP:DABRELATED. A few don't even use the term "red" (Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, Line C (Prague Metro)). I think a lot of these could be removed and we could combine redline (disambiguation) entries into a common DAB page, more in line with WP:DPAGES. Hoof Hearted (talk) 18:28, 4 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

These lines are colored red on system maps. Do you really mean that these are lines that no one ever refers to by color, not even people who want to educate others with line definitions (for example, they would rather say "In the Prague Metro, Line C is located north of Line A" and would never say "In the Prague Metro, Line C is the line colored red")?? I'm saying that as far as wikipedia disambiguation is concerned, this page exists so users can navigate to the specific usage of "Red Line" that they want. Therefore, it is to be expected that the term "Red Line" (or at a minimum, that the term "red") should be described on the target page. If people refer to Line C as the "Red Line", it should say so in the Line C (Prague Metro) article and could legitimately be listed here. If we're basing the usage solely on the fact that the maps use a red color I think that's a little weak and may make navigation for other "legitimate" uses more cumbersome. This is the intent of WP:DABRELATED. Hoof Hearted (talk) 19:04, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Red Line (2013 film)

I don't know where to put this comment, but here goes: "Red Line (2013 film), a 2013 American film" is listed in the article but links to no actual page. Where is the page for that film? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.250.54.227 (talk) 02:36, 11 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Red links on DAB pages have limited use. It looks like the director, Kym Jackson, was eventually provided as a navigable (blue) link which at least mentions the title of the film. Once someone writes the article, the red link will turn blue. If you feel up to it, be bold and start the Red Line (2013 film) article yourself!  :-) Hoof Hearted (talk) 20:29, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
