In an episode of "The Blacklist" this snake's venom is mentioned as highly potent, but the protagonist recovers. Is there an antivenom available? If so,should it be mentioned in this article? Regards, DPdH (talk) 12:33, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Latin naming?
I'm very confused, the latin name is 'flaviceps', literally yellow-head --- there's other examples: Yellow-headed Brushfinch: Atlapetes flaviceps; Chlorotachina flaviceps, a fly with a yellow head; or the Verdin where the wikipedia page explicitly says 'flaviceps meaning yellow-headed', https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verdin ... So, how is this obviously red-headed snake that's commonly called red-headed krait called in 1843 'yellow-headed'? Was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johannes_Theodor_Reinhardt colorblind?
