I changed the wording a little bit. The article said Garret was the second female Enterprise captain when in fact, she is the second female captain and the first female Enterprise captain.

The current version of the article claims that there are no known instances of other women captaining any of the Starfleet ships named "Enterprise". I believe that is no longer true - Dr. Beverly Crusher temporarily commanded the NCC-1701D in "Descent", the two-parter where Lore made his final appearance (last episode of the 6th season and first episode of 7th).

Dr. Crusher was not officially given the captaincy, merely the con. Deanna Troi was compelled to assume command in "Disaster". Rachel Garrett does indeed appear to be the first commissioned captain of an Enterprise. And my apologies for missing the original wording about Garrett being the first female Enterprise captain. I missed "Enterprise" in the phrasing! GBC 05:26, 12 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Where is the captain?

I wanted to see if there was some reference to her name to be connected to that of Majel Barrett, but I find currently is not a "Rachel Garrett" article, even! --Manfariel (talk) 17:35, 7 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
