The result of the move request was: Not moved. Consensus turned against the move pretty sharply once it was discovered that "CARS" was in fact an acronym and not a mere stylization. (non-admin closure) — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 04:33, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
– Unclear why we're shouting the word "CARS" in the page titles. It's hard to find sources given most search results are either primary sources relating to the games or are unrelated false-positives (ie. talking about motor industry R&D projects) but most sources I can find write the word "Cars" in normal title case (ie. Gamespot, Evo, NME, Autoevolution, Eurogamer, Car Throttle, PC Gamer). HumanBodyPiloter5 (talk) 15:24, 24 March 2022 (UTC) — Relisting.🐶 EpicPupper(he/him | talk)07:06, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Not Necessary, the redirect was to the first game in this series and I have altered it to redirect here instead since it makes the most sense.--65.93.195.118 (talk) 22:37, 24 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
So it's just a coincidence that the abbreviation of the name of this video game series about automobile racing happens to spell out the word "CARS"? — BarrelProof (talk) 03:39, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Coincidence, no. Creative choice that makes sense within the game? Yes. The use of all-caps is not mere styling, but sets off the word as having a specific meaning separate from the normal word. A creative acronym intentionally chosen to spell out a common word that is relevant is still an acronym that should be in all-caps. oknazevad (talk) 19:03, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Oppose. On the basis on both A wild wild word, but also even without the detail it was kind of obvious this is an acronym for something other than just the word car. CaptainGalaxy09:40, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
