PRINCES SQUARE is referred to in the wikipedia page "scotlands 100 best buildings" and links to an empty page. The content submitted was intended to augment the pre-existing empty page. The architectural significance of the building is attested by the collection of National Awards as noted, and references such as the published suggestion in the book by Bill Bryson p339 "Notes from a Small Island" the reference "... most intelligent piece of urban renewal in the Princes Square shopping centre. Suddenly the world began cautiously to come to Glasgow ... In 1990 Glasgow was named European City of Culture, and no one laughed. Never before had a city's reputation undergone a more dramatic and sudden transformation -..." The significance is that the building is acknowledged by others as contributed to this regeneration.
