Ask for expanding

Would you please expand on what errors do you have in mind in statement "Detractors cite this as a fault, as naïve programmers will not expect network-related errors"? Optionally some sources would be nice for further reading. Thanks in advance — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.11.145.111 (talk) 09:22, 21 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Merging to Portable Distributed Objects

Given the no consensus result last month, I’m writing to ask if there’s any opposition to merging the article with the article about Portable Distributed Objects. While opinions were split between merging and deleting, both of these opinions indicate that this should not continue to exist as a standalone article, and this AtD is thus better than the status quo. I’ll move forward with this in a few days if there’s no opposition. HyperAccelerated (talk) 14:22, 8 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
