@Artemis Andromeda - The English rendering of this article name is rather lengthy, and odd for the ear and eye. I've seen sources use two variants: "Politechniki Square" and less often "Polytechnic Square". Is there a way to achieve consensus on this? Merangs (talk) 21:31, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Merangs
It was named after the Warsaw University of Technology. This is where "University of Technology" in the name comes from. Artemis Andromeda (talk) 21:57, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thought I admit it sounds rather lengthy, and Polytechnic Square indeed seeems to be actually used by some English sources. If we were to replace the current name, I would personally support fully English name rather than the wired Polish-English hybride that is "Politechniki Square". The only issue I really have is that it kinda looks wierd, as stated above that it was named after the Warsaw University of Technology (Politechnika Warszawska), and yet it would not actually share its name in English version. If I may ask, what's your opinion about those solutions? Artemis Andromeda (talk) 22:05, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think the way it appears now (following your most recent edit) is alright. Viewership is not high here so it should not be a major problem. Merangs (talk) 22:24, 29 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
