This page seems very disorganised and uncoherent to me.

It's very strange to come to this page and find generative art in the first sentence of the general description - this seems seriously misplaced, as it amounts to starting by talking about a special - and, pace generative artists, obscure - case. Today's rewrite casts the phrase in its popular as well as technical uses. On Planet Math the article "Statistical Model" is the target of redirect from Parameter Space. Since the phrase is very widely used in science apart from statistics, a broader outlook is in order. Editors should review parameter where a distinction is made from ordinary variable, somewhat closer to constant (mathematics). This distinction seems less applicable for this article given the general usage in science.Rgdboer (talk) 22:50, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I hope I didn't misread the math, but to my knowledge this formula does not correspond to the Mandelbrot set. The Mandelbrot set includes all c that result in a bounded orbit, not only those where z converges to zero. This article leads with a quote from Ross 1990, where three undefined symbols are introduced out of context: p, theta-sub-1, and thea-sub-2.
