This sound a lot like advertising for the company. Especially the competitors section is questionable, but the overall style sounds much the same.

While NetSuite Competitors (http://biz.yahoo.com/ic/99/99285.html) may be listed as Microsoft Business Solutions, Salesforce.com and Siebel Systems On-Demand Software, there really is no other competitor in the business providing a totally integrated package the way that NetSuite Inc does it (http://www.inc.com/magazine/20050201/larrys-kids.html).

The article still has issues.

The very way in which NetSuite pulls everything together for your business into the one platform could be seen to be a high risk -- what if the platform goes down, is attacked, or the company running the services is bankrupted?

I accept that the original -- in the competitors section -- sounded a bit like advertising. However, I had a source that stated that and not me. So, what I have done it to quote the source as saying that and then providing additional information that balances the source's view.

I then also noted that 24SevenOffice place a minor edit that did not flow well in the article. So, I studied 24SevenOffice and provided a view of how 24SevenOffice and NetSuite are competitors in this space in quite a different way.

I am still working on the article on NetSuite Inc., to provide a more balanced view and to extend the information.

Am planning to extend the history of the formation of the company as there is some rather interesting political moves Larry Ellison made in forming NetSuite, SalesForce and now has introduced a range of products in Oracle that compete with his proteges as well. There is some major fact finding required here with some serious journalism required.

More edits done to ensure the article is presented from a neutral point of view. Will work at it over the next few days to ensure that it is presented from a neutral perspective.

I welcome any suggestions as to how to make it much more 'encyclopedic'.

Thanks for cleaning it up. Certainly more neutral now. I've removed the Localized Versions section, (because I'd consider this standard for any mature product these days) and cleaned up the External links. Regarding further directions, I'd look at articles for other software companies, take IBM, Microsoft, Oracle Corporation, or SAP Aktiengesellschaft as example. --S.K. 13:20, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

An employee of 24SevenOffice has used Wikipedia as a marketing tool to represent his company and product through Wikipedia. He has targetted competitor pages (such as this one) as well as technology pages. He's added complete sections just so he could include his company link and even influenced others simply to get his company marketted. The competitor section referring to his company has no place in this article. Additionally, a look at the user's contributions to Wikipedia show a clear intent to mass market his product using Wikipedia. - Sleepnomore 11:37, August 13, 2005 (UTC)

• • The initial link, as you will see, was added by Sleepyhead. He then used sockpuppets as he often does to have the topic inflated. Please see the history of this article for reference. Two paragraphs about a competitors product do not belong on this page -- particularly when the item is not notable. A two paragraph analysis of an unknown product doesn't belong here. If you want to provide an analysis of 24SevenOffice as compared to NetSuite Inc, please do it on 24SevenOffice.     • You have incorrectly stated that I added the section to market 24SevenOffice - which is a lie. Whether the section belongs in the article is another issue. I am not sure if it does. 24SevenOffice is far from as known as NetSuite. On the other hand I think there is only NetSuite and 24SevenOffice who have similar product offerings. I cannot think of any other web-based ERP system that are as extensive as NetSuite or 24SevenOffice. Should this page link to the Evan Goldberg Wiki page? I think the NetSuite Evan Goldberg is different to the Superbad-writer Evan Goldberg.

• Explanation of issue: Inaccurate/out of date information needs to be changed on this page. Following the close of Oracle's acquisition of NetSuite, it appears the company has adopted a new logo. It is referenced both on its own website and in online media coverage of the company. Additionally, corporate headquarters is incorrectly listed as San Mateo, when headquarters is in Redwood Shores.
