The Energy section under Infrastructure is generally out of date. More specifically, Nepal's current installed electricity capacity is 3,878 megawatts (MW) as of summer of 2025 as opposed to the stated 1,100 MW. In addition to this, export of power to Bangladesh and India should be added.

About Nepal being buffer state of China and British India

i don't think this was what happened at the time. The borders of Qing Dynasty, China never reached until the borders of Nepal as tibet was still independent despite being under qing influence. I suggest the writers to edit that part out. Juddhasumsher (talk) 16:58, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
