Talk:Native copper

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Talk:Native copper

Proposed merge

  • No. This article is about a unique and important mineral species with a significant role in the history of mining and humanity quite separate from the element copper. It is in need of expansion, but not merging. Vsmith 01:43, 16 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to undo the "Varieties" section, because it seems to be fake.

Nowhere else on the Web seems to mention "ferrous copper" or "copper aureus" in the context of native copper, except for copies of this article. "Copper is silver" doesn't even make sense, and also isn't something mentioned anywhere else I can find, except in sentences about something completely different.

The intro above that is also... weird.

This section was wholly added by one editor, which is why I can just undo it.
