"A fooer is one who foos" is generally obvious and redundant to add. I really don't see what the "he who moderates" adds to the article. There's already a wiktionary link.

As to the other comments- Wikipedia is not a dictionary. This is weird coming from me, as I'm more than happy to add dic meanings some time, but the "head of a town meeting" is very clearly part of the "chairman" definition. Yes, it's nice that they're supposed to be non-partisan, but this seems too much of a stretch, and very doubtful that this is what someone would be looking for by typing in "moderator."

Order is not a huge deal, but MoS:DAB states that the most common usage should typically come first, and that would definitely be the "chairman" usage. Heck, Moderator Provincae is a redirect that isn't really mentioned much in the article on Roman Governors, so it doesn't seem that important. SnowFire 16:51, 15 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
