Who is Meijer? I came here via "Random article" and know nothing about the specific subject, but would like to read about the person. However, there are no wikilinks to indicate where to go, and Meijer turns out to be about a American retailer! Please fix this, someone. Loganberry (Talk) 04:05, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I thought about it when I wrote the article, but I don't know anything about Meijer and I don't know where to find it! surfing on internet, I found out this, stating that he was a Russian mathematician, nothing more, but I couldn't even find his full name! He's always referenced as Meijer, C. S. Alessio Damato 13:23, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I note that C. S. Meijer is listed as a "missing article" on this page, so that would seem to be the answer: it's a redlink. Hopefully that will change before long! Loganberry (Talk) 13:27, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
The definitions of sin(x) and sinh(x); and cos(x) and cosh(x) seems very identical to me - is this a typo or poor vision on my behalf? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.242.31.17 (talk) 10:03, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- The Meijer-G representations of sin(x) and sinh(x) and of cos(x) and cosh(x) seem to be in agreement with sin(x) = −i·sinh(i·x) and cos(x) = cosh(i·x), as they must be. 217.184.68.91 (talk) 19:43, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
