Does anyone have any of the issues that Matt Cable appeared in during Swamp Thing? I don't, so I can't update any of that portion of his history, but I feel it's fairly important to the character.

In other media, he was played by Adrienne Barbeau. Well, let me explain. Alice Cable in the Wes Craven Swamp Thing film was a CIA agent, as Matthew Cable had been. So she was basically a female version of Cable.

I am positive that Matt was a supporting character in Paul Kupperberg's early (1970s) Doom Patrol stories. But I know precious little about exactly how. Perhaps he was only in Showcase #96 (cover date Jan 1978)? Luis Dantas 05:49, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

In the sections on Ravens it says "Notable predecessors as the Raven are Lucien, who was the first Raven, as well as the last Raven and Aristeas of Marmora". The punctuation lends itself to a little vagueness of meaning there: is it saying that Lucien was the last raven, or is 'the last raven' part of the list? Either way, there are problems. Lucien did reclaim his job as raven for a while, but he is not the last raven mentioned in The Dreaming. As things stand with the stories that have been published, the 'last' raven to hold the job is Tethys, a white raven (first met in her pre-raven incarnation in 'The Dreaming' #33) that Daniel enlisted after Matthew's death, as noted further on in the paragraph.
