I found a context where 'Mathematical operator' was linked to operator (mathematics) but on inspection, they really wanted 'operation (mathematics)' (or even 'symbol'?)

Easy mistake to make - so I though this redirect should actually be a disambiguation. Lets check the context where it's used?

Is there a better solution ('arithmetic operator' rather than 'mathematical' in the offending location(s)?)

on reflection, I see the vast majority of the time, mathematical operator does infact refer to operator (mathematics).

I just fear that others might make the same mistake.
