Talk:Master Password (algorithm)

Is it possible to have more information about the password generation algorithm?

I was wondering if it would be possible to get further explanations about the Binary template seed and how it works.

It would be very interesting : )

Edit, I just found very interesting information about this topic on the first reference link. --Chopin2712 (talk) 19:15, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Maybe changing the title to 'Masterpassword (algorithm)'

I think it would be relevant to rename the article to "Master Password (algorithm)" instead of 'Master password'. Just to make the distinction between a master password and this app.

What do you think? --Chopin2712 (talk) 17:36, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'd have to disagree, as the article is about the algorithm which uses two words in title case per the source. An article on the concept of master password would be Master password (in sentence case). Schazjmd (talk) 18:00, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Schazjmd: OK I changed it, is it OK this way? "Master Password (algorithm)" --Chopin2712 (talk) 18:18, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Chopin2712, I think that works. There's no need to disambiguate the title that way yet, but no harm done. Schazjmd (talk) 18:20, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Schazjmd: OK thanks --Chopin2712 (talk) 18:23, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
A major problem with this article is that its title says it's about the family of algorithms, but it's actually about a particular implementation. --Mubelotix (talk) 18:13, 1 June 2021 (UTC+2)
