New enough, long enough, QPQ done, and ok hook. Earwig found no problematic copying. The article and hook are adequately sourced and the subject is adequately notable through WP:PROF#C1. The writing is a little off-key in places: Why "has been" for his present position as associate professor at CMU? Why is the article so coy about not using pronouns, which would likely help American readers unfamiliar with Dutch names who might mistakenly think his name female (or readers familiar with Dutch names who might think he is deliberately avoiding gender binaries)? Why are his research accomplishments listed in a section that should be about career milestones, rather than in a separate section? Why is the Boolean Pythagorean triples problem named without a definite article? But those are minor issues that (while they should be cleaned up) are not sufficient to block DYK approval. —David Eppstein (talk) 07:32, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@David Eppstein: Sorry for taking long to respond! To answer to the first point, the reason why I use "has been" at least for his possition University of Texas is because the source does not specify if he continues working there. I can imagine it can be inferred that he has left his position there to work at Carnegie Mellon, but I didn't want to risk speculating. For the rest, I have tried applying some of the changes and look forward to continue making improvements. Many thanks! --NoonIcarus (talk) 13:21, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
