As is, the article is a little confusing because there are two overlapping timelines:

It would probably require significant effort to revise this to make it more accessible and readable. Also, there is a page on SourceForge, which is not mentioned anywhere:

There is no mention of Miladin Milenkovic in the article (or, for that matter, in various web searches I tried), so maybe that is an alias or possibly he was working with Malwarebytes back in 1977. However, I did find a history in LifeHacker:
