Why is the propper abreviation LLDC for Least Developed Country? --Master Bob 06:37, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- According to Least developed countries, it's because one L stands for "less," and they double up to show "least". NickelShoe 15:50, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

ldc = linear discriminant classifier
In the field of pattern recognition the shorthand of linear discriminant classifier is often used. Maybe this should be added?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.158.234.84 (talk)
- Per the guideline WP:DABABBREV, the abbreviation should be mentioned in an article in order to be included. I don't see it in linear classifier or linear discriminant analysis. Are there any articles where it is mentioned? Nick Number (talk) 14:35, 28 January 2016 (UTC)
