You're right that it's not fair to mention someone by name in an NPOV article about killfiling...but still, if you know anything about Matt Giwer, then you'd agree that he is certainly one of the most killfiled persons on the entire Internet.  :) --Modemac 18:27 3 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Hmm, I'm more familiar with the terrible JSH (James Harris) of sci.math.. Ever noticed Nancy Lieder and the zetacrap on sci.astro? terribly amusing stuff.. :) -- Rotem Dan 18:45 3 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Net.ghosts

The person who winds up in a sufficient number of killfiles is said to be (in danger of becoming) a 'net.ghost'. There is a (general) reference to the 'net.-' prefix in the Jargon File; otherwise, I am unfortunately not able to find any reference to this term, nor even find an instance of its use in a search of Google Groups, though I recall seeing it used several times on Usenet. --96.251.93.152 (talk) 10:46, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I removed an image[1] under the external links section as this doesn't serve any purpose and not related to this topic. --Hissamelriys (talk) 20:24, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Tried to add external link to: rn KILL file FAQ, but that won't save :( Get message that faqs.org is not allowed for links. Thing is, that FAQ page is very good info about the KILL file.

Even this talk page won't save with a link to faqs.org so I added "REMOVE" to the URL. Remove REMOVE to navigate to the page.

Also, the existing link to NewsDemon.com is broken. Stevebroshar (talk) 12:23, 20 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
