I am thinking Intoxicant should be an article
The term intoxicant seems not to be very synonymous with the expression psychoactive drug
because
(1) the latter can be read as inclusive of drugs now professionally prescribed as anti-psychotics and
therefore
of any anti-intoxicant
and
(2) because it includes the term drug
the expression pysychoactive drug is not clearly inclusive of legal intoxicants
such as alcohol and various highly volatile substances
