ALT1:... that on the first few days of the launch of the internet bench(pictured) two teenagers phoned the local council and Bill Gates after discovering it could be used to make international calls? Source: Same as main hook.
Comment: @CAPTAIN MEDUSA: I fixed the grammar of your hooks, and added sources, which are required for DYK. I've contributed too much to the article to do a full review, so will leave that for another editor. Psiĥedelisto (talk • contribs) please alwaysping!15:06, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Date and length both OK. ALT1 is a marvellous hook and much better than the original, the notion of calling Bill Gates using a bench is certainly going to get views. QPQ done with no close paraphrasing (though I personally would prefer the text split into sections rather than just paragraphs). As for the picture, I think the hook should certainly run with it as it is appropriately licenced. I don't think it needs cropping @CAPTAIN MEDUSA: but maybe it could do with a little enlarging. Good to go otherwise. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk)15:20, 30 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
