I respect your thought, but sufficient difference exists to keep these articles separate. Ckazin24 02:57, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
There are distinctions, mostly legal if I recall correctly. I had this all written down and will try and find it--Isemonge (talk) 17:59, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Where is the Boston or ISO New England real-time data online to know how close to stress the system is, so consumers can know to turn off power NOW to relieve the system? -69.87.204.25 (talk) 19:01, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Goto http://iso-ne.org/ and click "LMP Map" at upper right of web page. FERC or DoE should have a web-bug, where you enter a zipcode and see a real-time status of your local grid. This would also allow an internet-based energy orb to be actively marketed, allowing customers to take action. This would be one of the first steps toward implementing a smart-grid. -- (Don Doughty) 19:08, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
The content about electricity distribution in the US should be re-organized, a hierarchy should be outlined and detail added, with the provisions for changes which are underway with these organizations controlling the grid. The US Grid is under-going upgrades & changes, (smart-grid efforts), and work needs to be done to clarify this hierarchy, ie, (FERC/DoE, ISO/RTO, PUC) and the scope of oversight they provide. Also a US ISO/RTO map should be added. -- (Don Doughty) 19:08, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
