I revised the pull-quote from the review to go into detail that the mini-stereo port has "a great deal of noise and static...makes it effectively unusable." I don't agree that it is "a great deal" of noise, but you would not indeed use it as a sound-system component if you care about quality. In a car or mowing the lawn, it's fine. My overall impression is that its lack of connectivity means it does nothing well, especially if you want to try to operate Windows 8 from the traditional desktop using the capacitative rubber-duckie stylus or your finger. The linked-to bloggers observe that installing Windows 10 degrades the battery statistics; perhaps because Windows 10 is continually updating itself and installing nagware? PS--I have found references to an HP Stream 8 that seems to be a follow-on tablet with enhancements in terms of lens quality and maybe processor speed, but I am not the best person to document these. Spike-from-NH (talk) 01:46, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
