An editor rightly removed the previous link as it did not meet WP:RS criteria. For verification, I am citing the authoritative monograph: Will South, "Guy Rose: American Impressionist", Oakland Museum of California, 1995, p. 37. It explicitly documents that Guy and Ethel Rose spent the winter of 1900 in Biskra, Algeria, where he executed three known Algerian subjects. There is no historical record of a visit to Tunisia. In contrast, Dr. Will South's monograph "Guy Rose: American Impressionist" (p. 37) is an authoritative, peer-reviewed academic source. It provides concrete historical records documenting his winter stay in Biskra, Algeria, and his creation of Algerian-themed works.
