Living into the 22nd century

For the part that says "It is expected that many members of Generation Beta will live to see the 22nd century", someone should add "and may be alive during the 2120s." ~2026-35120-2 (talk) 23:35, 16 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Welp, what the text says is unpredictably true by the way as of longer life expectancies and being born in mid-2020s to late-2030s. So, the eldest of Gen Beta member if you mention would be 95 years old and is a senior. People born in 2000s would eventually turn 100 years old in 2100s. Gen Beta range might change

Generational boundaries like “Gen Beta” aren’t fixed in real time but are defined retroactively based on major societal shifts, which is why its currently suggested range of 2025 to 2039 is likely to change. Gen Alpha’s defining traits of growing up with smartphones, tablets, and early algorithmic media, will only hold until a clear structural break occurs. If that transition happens in the late 2020s or early 2030s, it would make more sense for Gen Beta to begin around 2027 to 2030 and extend into the early 2040s and whose parents from Gen Z. Gen Beta’s final range will likely be set decades later once historians can clearly identify the societal phase change that distinguishes it from Gen Alpha. ~2026-35120-2 (talk) 23:50, 16 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Wouldn't that lead to some Gen Alphas having Gen Beta Babies? ~2025-40115-56 (talk) 21:01, 3 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes much like how some Gen Z have Gen Alpha babies. ~2026-21571-68 (talk) 22:47, 8 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have just notice no one in this conversation has a account that is not temporary including me ~2026-35591-42 (talk) 10:58, 19 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Wouldn't you include that Gen Beta is the first to be born entirely in the Post-Covid world?

Gen Beta are the only people in this cohort in history right now not to have experienced COVID-19 Pandemic, and will be learning about it in history class once they are at the time of being a student. TheMaximumSteel (talk) 16:01, 5 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
