Added Bangladeshi case

I just added the 2016 death of Xulhaz Mannan as a case worth profiling. There is already a tag on the page to globalize this as right now it focuses on the United States even though this is a global issue. Blue Rasberry (talk)11:24, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Article attempts to redefine "violence"
Latest comment: 3 years ago1 comment1 person in discussion
The "implicit homophobic/transphobic violence" section redefines violence to something it's not. The true definition of violence is as follows: "behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something."
I recommend a word such as "bias" instead since that's what it's really talking about. Redefining words like this will lead to confusion and a misrepresentation of facts. With "violence" defined so broadly, saying someone committed an act of violence against an LGBT person, loses its meaning. 108.26.206.115 (talk) 09:36, 21 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Proposed split of LGBT bullying

Thought this art would mostly focus on physical forms of gay bashing (types of violent physical assaults eg w/ vs w/o arms or weapons, fatal vs non-fatal, sexual, domestic, against children, etc), as LGBTQ bullying already covers non-physical forms. Violence against LGBTQ people has a good physical violence section (#Criminal assault), but doesn't seem to be organised by types. Might do wayyy later :) - Asdfjrjjj (talk) 20:18, 23 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
