G-Con changed to G-Fest
In 1996 and 1997, and perhaps later, the convention was called G-Con. I do not remember, nor is it important, to go into the bizarre events which led to the convention changing its name. When I have the time, I will make this change, barring a reason given not to. Boomcoach 18:56, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
Modeling contest and seminars
I plan to make some addition discussing the excellent work that Stan Hyde has done with these. It has been, for several years, the main reason that my son and I attend, as he enjoys doing buildups. I also plan to add links to the pages that I did covering the 96 and 97 Cons, once I clean up the link errors on them that came from moving hosts. These pages have some excellent pics from the cons, but I do not know how to make them available for use within the wiki, so linking to the coverage would be the best I could do.
