FIQ is a term more commonly used in the context of ARM architectures but can also be generic. I have specifically explained FIQ in the context of ARM because I have enough information only in this context. Contributors are welcome to expand it to other architectures.
- I agree there's nothing clearly promotional. That said, for a non-CS person, this stub is clearly lacking any context and is full of unexplained jargon; tagged as such. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:53, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
