Facebook Messenger → Messenger (messaging service) – This is the official name of the service. Since the rebrand of Facebook to Meta, that name has stuck. Interstellarity (talk) 00:46, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose move. "Facebook Messenger" is the obvious WP:COMMONNAME as decided last year. O.N.R. (talk) 13:19, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose. Not as recognizable as the current title and unlikely to be the common name. The proposed title is also ambiguous. WhatsApp Messenger is also owned by Meta, and this article also needs to be distinguished from LAN messenger, BlackBerry Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, etc. Arguably even bike messengers are "messaging services".
