I fixed some elements in the article that seemed quite promotional, but I am not the "neutral" point of view the article needs. Could someone take a better look

Socialbakers → Emplifi – I work in marketing for Emplifi. Socialbakers was acquired by Astute Solutions in 2020[1] and the combined entity was renamed "Emplifi"[2][3]. Recent articles have adopted the new "Emplifi" name.[4] Forrester[5] uses the phrase "Socialbakers, now Emplifi," but states in the article that the company was still called Socialbakers when they did their review and the company name was changed just prior to publishing.
I'd also like to share a proposed draft of an "Emplifi" page if the page is renamed. The current page is a WP:TNT situation. It is mostly uncited or cited to press releases and reads more like a product description from a product catalogue than an encyclopedic entry. @Timtempleton: Thanks so much for reviewing the draft!! I did want to ask if you could clarify the financials in the infobox, as those numbers are from Socialbakers only, pre-acquisition/merger. They are very different from Emplifi's revenues. Emplifi has not published anything on its financials, so we can't correct it. However, I was hoping we could add a clarifier like "(Socialbakers)" and put it in USD per MOS:CURRENCY, since the company is US-based now. JordanJulian19 (talk) 15:20, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
My name is Molly and I work for Emplifi. The infobox has an uncited (but correct) HQ location, an incorrect number of locations, and awkwardly calls Emplifi's products "customer experience systems" (nobody really refers to our software as "systems". I'd like to propose the following updated and cited infobox.

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
My name is Molly and I work for Emplifi. I'd like to request a few more edits that are explained below:
History Section - Addition: "In November of 2022, Emplifi acquired Pixlee, a tech company focused on monitoring online reviews and ratings.<ref name="g832">{{cite web | last=Schultz | first=Ray | title=Emplifi Acquires Pixlee TurnTo, Provider Of User-Generated Content | website=MediaPost | date=March 10, 2022 | url=https://www.mediapost.com/publications/article/379346/emplifi-acquires-pixlee-turnto-provider-of-user-g.html?edition=128131 | access-date=December 4, 2025}}</ref>"
Explanation: Adding cited content about recent acquisition
History Section - Trim: "The next year, Socialbakers co-founder and CEO Jan Rezab resigned and Robert Lang was appointed CEO."Source + "and Socialbakers CEO Yuval Ben-Itzhak became president of Emplifi."[7][8]
Explanation: Emplifi just got another new CEO and with such a short page, it feels like the content is over-run by executive appointments, often cited to short blurbs in trade press.
Throughout - Replacement: Suggest replacing "customer experience systems" with "customer experience software" throughout, as was done in the infobox.
Explanation: The "systems" language is awkward. Nobody refers to Emplifi's software/services as a "system"
History Section - Addiition: Astute was founded circa 1995.[1] Its software scanned the internet for information about customers, then analyzed and consolidated it.[1][2]
Explanation: Currently, the page is almost exclusively focused on SocialBakers, even though Astute was the one that acquired SocialBakers to form Emplifi and is the older company of the two. I'm suggesting this just to add some info about both companies that formed Emplifi. Another route would be to start the history in 2020 when Emplifi was formed by merging the two companies.
Operations: @Brandon: recently removed everything cited to the analyst firm Forrester and its Forrester Wave report. Is Forrester not a reliable source? Forrester Wave is one of the most well-known analyst reports in our industry and they are not paid for. Here is the citation: <ref name="Forrester Reprint">{{cite web | title=The Forrester Wave™: Social Suites, Q3 2021 | website=Forrester | url=https://reprints2.forrester.com/#/assets/2/252/RES176006/report | access-date=May 20, 2022|date=August 9, 2021|first1=Jessica|last1=Liu|first2=Sarah|last2=Dawson}}</ref>
I don't think that the info about executive appointments should be removed. I understand it can feel as if the page is "getting overwhelmed" by a small blurb, but if that's the case, there should be more content overall, not less. Would you be amenable to keeping that portion in? - Otherwise (Talk?) 15:41, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi @Mustbeotherwise: I disagree, but of course defer to you as the impartial editor. Many of these CEO appointments are for SocialBakers, which is merely a company Astute acquired before becoming Emplifi. The appointments are cited to short blurbs on routine announcements repeating from a press release. There isn't that much that could be added to expand the rest of the page. If we are keeping CEO appointments though, there's about 4 that are missing on the Astute side of Emplifi's history and some corrections (The first CEO of Emplifi was Mark Zablan (not Yuval Ben—Itzhak). Let me know either way and I'll respect your decision of course! My motivations are in part frustration the page is so focused on SocialBakers, which is merely a company Astute acquired before rebranding as Emplifi.
