Change capital of UAE. Capital is Abu Dhabi and not Dubai. Cortesao (talk) 07:31, 1 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done, it's not clear what you're talking about. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 07:51, 1 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
(I assume they are talking about the first sentence in the lead, which states its the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, though not the UAE. This could have been a misunderstanding on their part.) ★ Campssitie (msg) (in solidarity, #943) 🧋🏖 09:39, 23 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Change "expatriates" to "immigrants". ~2026-42703-63 (talk) 13:42, 2 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done: No elaboration on why this change should be made. I will note that due to a lack of ability to naturalize, if you lose your visa (like if you lose your job/the condition of your visa), you can be kicked out of the country, unlike other countries where you can naturalize or there are more relaxed immigration laws. Dubai isn't most peoples' permanent homes; 'immigrant' specifically means someone going to another country to live there permanently. jolielover♥talk 14:22, 4 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
