District
According to census 2001 data, Devprayag lies both in Tehri Garhwal district and Pauri Garhwal district. Census data refers to Pauri Garhwal as simply Garhwal. Here is the entry:

- OK found it! Devprayag official website mentions Pauri district and also Map of Pauri district Collectively they make for it being in Pauri, though the across the river might be part of Tehri as tehri district map mentions Devprayag as a block HQ, which is possible too...:D--Ekabhishek (talk) 18:10, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
