The name of this article is wrong. The process herein described is called Le Chatelier process, who invented it in 1858. The Deville-Process is the production of aluminium from sodium and sodium aluminium chloride. See: Source 1 Source 2 --SimonsToaster (talk) 12:42, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I've moved the original page to Deville–Pechiney process and started work on a new Deville process page. It's unfortunate it's taken 19 years to begin fixing this error (introduced in 12:09, 17 April 2005, then noted by you over 8 years ago), but at least we're doing something about it now.
