Deep Purple origin

The origins of the band Deep Purple started in Kensington, London between 1967 and 1968. There is no fact that the band started in Hertford, the County town of Hertfordshire. Those researching the band will have found this on the Wikipedia page and used this in their article, thus creating a source as justification. The source of origin has been added, and page protection requested. This source: https://www.classicrockforever.com/story-ritchieblackmoremeetsjonlord.html as used in the Wiki article predates any source stating the band are from Hertford. Kensington, the last time I checked was still part of London. Most of the members were in and around London at the time of the band's early formation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Goom80 (talkcontribs) 02:50, 31 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
